How Much Zakat Do I Owe?
Zakat is calculated at 2.5% of the wealth one possesses above the Nisab threshold. The Nisab, as established by the Prophet (SAWS), is either:
- 87.48g of gold
- 612.36g of silver

Shahada
Shahada can be scheduled after Friday prayer or during Friday evening prayers.
Haneefiya America welcomes those who wish to embrace Islam by reciting the Shahada (Declaration of Faith).
- Shahada ceremonies can be scheduled after Friday prayers or Friday evenings.
- A team member will personally guide new Muslims through the process to ensure comfort and clarity.
Funeral
Haneefiya America is here to assist families during times of grief, ensuring that Islamic burial rites are carried out with dignity and care.

Marriage
Haneefiya America provides Islamic marriage services to help couples formalize their union according to Islamic traditions.
Steps to Get Married
1. Send an email to info@haneefiya.org to check the availability of marriage officiants.
2. Obtain a marriage license from your local county courthouse.
3. Fill out the marriage questionnaire [here].
4. Provide information about two witnesses and ensure their presence during the Islamic ceremony.
